I was at the IDPA World (Pistol) Championships last week in Tulsa and had the chance to talk with shooters from around the globe.

Most notable were the shooters from England and South Africa…and if there are any overly-sensitive Brits reading this like the one who contacted me this morning, YES, I mean England, not just Great Britain 🙂

In short, the Middle East and Africa are quickly destabilizing due to a combination of factors, including economics and violent extremists like ISIS. There’s Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Sahel (including Burkina Faso’s government falling last week) and even central and southern Africa—MILLIONS of economic migrants and refugees are on the move.

I’ve got to apologize in advance for using “many/most/few” and other non-specific words as much as I do in this article. There are no solid numbers on the current refugee crisis because of the fact that refugees typically move from country to country illegally and without record.

As a broad picture generalization, refugees in the Middle East and Africa north of the Sahara are trying to go North to Europe and England and African refugees south of the Sahara are trying to go south to South Africa.

Here’s why this is important…

  1. It’s estimated that 75% of the refugees currently in Syria aren’t Syrian
they’re economic migrants who have already fled their home country (in many cases, ISIS) and Syria just happens to be where they are now. So, of the 200,000 refugees that Ambassador Kerry is talking about bringing into the US, roughly 150,000 aren’t Syrian.

THAT is important for 2 reasons:

  1. It’s incredibly naive to believe that Syrians doing background checks on refugees from other countries will be able to accurately determine whether or not they’re going to be a threat once they’re in the US.
  2. We can look at how these refugees are behaving once they get to England and South Africa to get an indication of how they’ll act once they get to the US.

One thing that both the Englanders and South Africans said in different ways was that, regardless of how good the intentions of the refugees were initially, hunger, frustration, and lack of opportunity because of language and marketable skills caused most to resort to crime.

Let’s start with England…specifically Britain.

To begin with, I’ve got to say that the situation in Britain is combining 2 issues
the consequences of making firearms illegal and a weak immigration/refugee policy. Because of the timing, it’s hard to separate the consequences of the two.

It’s also important to note that many/most of the refugees are Muslim. That’s not a problem in and of itself, but it is a problem when many of those Muslims believe in Sharia law and aren’t interested in assimilating into whatever country they end up in.

The stories I heard about how the refugees were acting once they got to Britain was frightening. Their behavior is encouraged, in part, because of the introduction of Sharia courts in England in recent years.  They have proof that Britain will capitulate to their demands, so they keep pushing the line with the final goal of making Britain an Islamic state.

So, you’ve got unskilled workers who don’t know the language and who don’t want to adopt a new culture, add to that the fact that most private ownership of firearms is illegal, and you get a combination that has led to skyrocketing (double digit—up to 34%) increases in gun crime and violent crime.

An increase in gun crime is understandable. Any time you make something illegal, crime will go up. Since ownership of a gun is now a crime in England, it makes sense that gun crime would go up because even good people caught with a firearm are considered “criminals.”

What is concerning is that robbery, gun related crimes, domestic burglary, retail burglary, and drug offenses are all massively higher.

Britain is going back and forth on how many refugees they’ll take, but the fact is, they don’t have the infrastructure to support them. From plumbing to unskilled jobs to entitlements to keep the refugees fed, housed, clothed, and healthy.

The situation in South Africa can best be described by a story I was told

Former US Army Special Forces and Delta Force legend, Larry Vickers, recently taught a class in South Africa.

It was made up of civilians.

As is his custom, he asked how many people had used a firearm in a self-defense situation in the past.

Everyone raised their hands. He was taken aback.

With hesitancy in his voice, he asked how many people had used a firearm in self-defense twice.

More than half the class raised their hands.

Finally, he asked how many people had used a firearm in self-defense 3 or more times.

About a quarter of the class raised their hands.

Larry had never taught a class, outside of VERY high tempo units, where he got this kind of response.

SMALL neighborhoods are getting half a dozen armed home invasions per week.

Neighborhoods that don’t want that kind of trouble are mounting nightly armed patrols. They’re working, but it’s not sustainable.

You’ve got professional people with day jobs patrolling when they need to be getting sleep. In one case, 7 people are doing 3, 3 hour patrols per night, which means that each person is losing AT LEAST 9 hours of sleep per week.

The patrols are working almost 100% of the time, but they’re like squeezing a long, thin clown balloon
it doesn’t get rid of the problem, it just moves it to another neighborhood.

Right now, it looks like there are 200,000 of these refugees coming to America.

But it gets better.

A passage of the Quran (4:100) says that it’s a good thing to “emigrate for Allah” and this practice, called “hijrah” is thought of as a form of “stealth jihad.” And, although ISIS is insulted by the fact that the people who they enacted Sharia law on aren’t excited about it, they’re encouraging “true believers” to pose as refugees as a way to get free transportation to other countries they want to destroy.

There’s a few very disturbing things about that 200,000 number

To put the number in perspective, there are roughly 200,000 active Marines.

There are roughly 800,000 active sworn peace officers. About 200,000 of them on duty in a protective capacity at any given time.

In other words, 200,000 is A LOT, even spread out across the country of 300 million.

But the background checks are where things get really messy
let me give you an example based on firearms silencer and other Class 3/Title 2 items.

We’re on track to have just over 5,000 Class III items sold this year, including 2,900 gun mufflers, or silencers. In order to buy a muffler for your gun so you can be respectful to your neighbors when you shoot, you have to prove that you’re a citizen, not a felon, and go through an FBI background check.

Right now, there are 54 people processing these background checks for the FBI and it takes an average of 155 days
and that’s with the benefit of a lifetime of digital data available for analysis. Many applications are for multiple items, but let’s just keep it simple and say that each of the 54 examiners gets roughly 100 applications per year. From that, it’s a rough guess that it takes roughly 2-3 days of actual work per application and the rest of the 155 days is waiting in a stack or waiting for more information.

People who buy Class III items through this process are not criminals. They’ve paid for and submitted to a background check and, more than likely, have been through one or more background check in the last 12 months. They’ve submitted fingerprints
often, multiple times. In many cases, they’ve spent hundreds of dollars on legal fees for a trust. In order to do all of this, they’ve got to have a good, steady job and/or good cash management skills. Again, for the most part, this is for US resident, non-felons to buy mufflers to make their guns quieter. Criminals don’t go through this process to get their Class 3 items.

Ambassador Kerry says that he’s going to bring 200,000 refugees into the country, after they go through “background checks.” That’s 40 times more background checks than what the FBI does for Class 3 approvals. And, at 2-3 days per background check, it would take a staff of 2,000 trained & experienced FBI agents with amazing computer databases at their disposal 5 months to work through the process.

Except it’s not trained and experienced FBI agents doing the background checks.

It’s Syrians. More specifically, Muslim and Islamic Syrians deciding who gets the applications and doing the background checks.

For the most part, Christians aren’t even allowed to apply.

And they don’t have the electronic databases that the FBI does to streamline the process.

And, remember, roughly 75% of the “refugees” from Syria right now are economic migrants from other countries who see “refugee” status as their golden ticket.

So, what’s all of this boil down to? 1. If you’re in a position to affect policy, I would suggest SERIOUSLY investigating whether or not it’s a good idea to take in these refugees
both nationally and locally. 2. Keep your eyes open and stay serious about your training and preparations in case things start to play out here like they have been in England, the rest of Europe, and South Africa. We’re in a long-war with radical Islam and they’re going to try to infect and destabilize us in as many ways as possible. It’s our job to do things today so that we’re ready tomorrow, next month, or next year.

      Ox,
You nailed it with facts. Frankly I’m surprised she made those claims being a South African. Just goes to show us that ignorance has no borders. (Something we already knew I know.)

One of my best friends is South African. Both he and his wife. He also spent time in S. African Army and he’s got combat experience over there. What he describes to me is pretty much what Larry Vickers described to you. This is a way of life for them. Surely if private citizens weren’t armed the country would be in anarchy at this point. There is so much violence in Johannesburg and Capetown and in the major cities that would shock the uninformed American citizen.

In fact I was having a discussion with my best friends wife – she is struggling with their need to arm themselves (we have brought them into our little group), and me, being a Texan I didn’t understand that perspective at all. Until she told me, “Robert, that was the life we lived in S. Africa. That’ s WHY we came to America to escape having to raise our daughter in that violence.” I’ll admit, I had to think on that a few minutes.

But then, I reminded my friends that the problems we are facing are in fact Global issues. Not restricted to a South Africa and it’s not restricted to England…or France…or Germany. Granted there are forces at work in our own country that are contributing to the decline of our nation. This “collapse” or crap hit the fan scenario that many of us see as writing on the wall, is NOT going to be from a single prong of attack but it has many faces, many facets and many TACTICS.

Listen, those of us who served know the difference between 3 different lanes of fire vs. a single enfilade of fire. (I don’t want to get too militaristic in my lingo) but my point is we know the effectiveness of multi-prong attacks vs. a single prong. This is what we are facing.

Our morality under attack. Our economy under attack. Our rights under attack. Political decisions that continue to erode our capability of Greatness. Now add to that all the other mess that is going on in the world – the Global terrorism. The pretty firm believe that those who will bring violence of force against us Americans at some point in the future, just add complexity to the entire hot mess. I mean, it really is a “soup sandwich” is it not???

I’m not trying to stand on a soapbox here, but I would tell Shaaira that she is living in some kind of bubble. If she wants to start an exchange with the South Africans who are living that nightmare that Larry Vickers described, I can certainly make that connection for her. Her statements that cast the Muslims as this purely innocent, peace-loving people makes me laugh.

Well actually what made me laugh was her denial of the pure EVIL that exists in her own religion. You see that is exactly how the “peace-loving Muslims” can turn their face from the acts of ISIS and Al Qaeda. They simply say, “Oh they are not Muslim!” therefore we have no responsibility to stop them. Well Shaaira here is a closing thought for you. “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Shaaira you say your religion is filled with good peace-loving people? Why don’t we see those “GOOD PEOPLE” doing something to stop those who would take your religion to murderous extremes?

I can tell you why – but you will not like the answer. Because ultimately, both evils – the act of evil and the act of ignoring evil both accomplish an Islamic agenda. Yes, I did in fact say that people who stand by and allow evil to perpetuate are themselves evil. Well, maybe I did get on a soapbox after all.

Thanks OX for being our voice of reason. Thank you for providing intelligent, well though-out responses. I have a great deal of respect for you.

      Stay the Course my Brother!

      Robert

Wow. Stupidity has no limit!! As a South African I can tell you our gun laws are so strict that even getting a license to possess a firearm takes YEARS. Unlike America every Tom dick and duck dynasty hill billy cannot own a gun, unless acquired illegally which carries a prison sentence. I highly doubt anyone in a self defense class is going to own a gun, let alone fire one. Furthermore if I owned a gun(still waiting for my license 3 years on) I would not bother learning to fight, that would be the point of the gun. Secondly. If you have any intellect you would know Isis is not muslim, so quoting that ridiculous line about “migration” which you have taken out of context is moot. The migration taken by the prophet was entirely involuntary, the meccans were pagan and did threw the Muslims out of Mecca. They were forced to “migrate” and God assured them of a reward for leaving their beloved home in order for the religion to prosper and to be practiced in peace away from the torture of the pagan arabs, who often tortured and abuses Muslims to death. The first muslim to be killed was Sumayya, she was a slave, stabbed in the genitals in front of her child and husband. Just for being muslim and accepting a monotheist God. Furthermore Muslims are not animals attemoting to conquer the world, they are being forced out of their countries due to the oil greedy west. Innocent lay man are being forced into rubber boats accross shores. I highly doubt they are trying to practice sharia law , a normal person can see that their kids are being blown up so they flee. They just want peace away from war and a chance to live. If the zionists can stop pushing their agenda by creating wars all over the east, there will be no persecution of Muslims who have been living peacefully for hundreds of years. Come on people. Thinkng caps on

      • Ox

Shaaira…wow is right. I’m curious…how did you find the site/article?

It seems as if you didn’t read or understand the framework of the article. The information that I got from South Africa came from South Africans who shared their first hand experiences with me.

I did hear common stories on the times that it takes to get a firearm in SA. From 8-12 months on the short end to 10+ years on the long end. Absolutely crazy, but fortunately, several peace loving SAs have gone through the process and I’m glad you are too.

You may be too young to have had mandatory service, but many of the people who did have mandatory service legally owned private weapons today.

As to fighting vs. having a gun…they can’t be separated. A gun can be, but isn’t always part of a self-defense fight…even a life or death one where your attacker is using a gun.

I’m shaking my head in disbelief at your statement that ISIS is not Muslim. (I guess I have no intellect) Could you explain how a radical Muslim group that recruits it’s members from Muslim Mosques in Muslim countries, prays to a Muslim god and follows Muslim texts and Muslim clerics isn’t Muslim? I agree 100% that they’re radical and not mainstream, but they are Muslim, none the less, and if Muslims don’t claim them, then THEY should take care of the problem.

The migration that I referred to is what Al Quaeda did and ISIS does refer to as a weapon to use against the West. That was not my creation…that is a modern interpretation of radical Islamic leaders and clerics to manipulate followers to go to Western countries. I simply regurgitated the tactic that they’re actively using to try to destabilize us.

As to who is forcing Muslims to move…look at the facts. ANY time there is any semblance of stability in the Middle East or Africa, radical Muslims come in and start killing people. Not just Christians, but Muslims and anyone else who doesn’t subscribe to their extreme, twisted version of Islam. Most Muslims are just trying to live peacefully and raise their families, but there are MANY in power who have the goal of total world domination under radical Islam (the Caliphate under the 12th Imam). Anyone who isn’t Muslim is to be converted, taxed, or killed. Anyone who’s not Muslim enough is an apostate and gets killed. Who’s blowing up kids? Mostly Muslims blowing up other Muslims who aren’t radical enough.

I get that peaceful Muslims want to raise their kids and work and live at peace. They should go to stable Muslim countries where they won’t need to change their culture, customs, and way of life to fit in and thrive. Why would anyone with a heart OR a brain want to send people to a country where they are SO far behind the curve that there’s little chance for them to catch up. It’s cruel.

As to Muslims living peacefully for hundreds of years…that flies completely in the face of history, facts, logic, and reason.

        Here’s a couple of examples…

First, in recent centuries, slavery as we know it has primarily been a Muslim institution. There was no innocence on the part of early American slave owners, but there wouldn’t have been a slave trade in the first place if Muslims wouldn’t have kidnapped Africans, forced them on ships, and brought them to America for sale. Since Islam says not to enslave Muslims, many Imams resisted proselytizing in Africa…simply so that the number of available slaves would remain high. If you’re Muslim and have a problem with that, GOOD! Fix it, but don’t ignore history and reality and allow it to continue.

Second, Muslims, including the Barbary Pirates, blackmailed, captured, tortured, raped, and killed Americans and American ships before America was even a country. Our ships were defended by England before the revolution, by France during the revolution, and we paid bribes from the time of Washington’s presidency until Jefferson’s to keep our ships from being attacked. The tax was massively increased during Jefferson’s presidency, he bought a Koran to learn about the Muslim faith, realized that we could not co-exist with them after reading it, and sent 8 Marines and a couple hundred mercenaries to Tripoli to recover American POWs and beat the snot out of the Barbary pirates. America has been WILLING to live at peace with Muslims since then, but it has been up to each and every generation (and family) of Muslims and individual Muslims as to whether or not THEY are willing to live at peace with US.

    • DanG

Good article, but we are already behind the 8 ball. Nobody seems to be talking about the estimated 300,000 so called “Refugees” stealthily brought in by Obama between 2013 and 2015. There have been articles written about this on other sites. Also I came across a list of States that would receive these additional refugees. Some of you may have already seen it as well. California, Texas and New York will take in the most. So by 2017 we will have an estimated total of 500,000 spread across the country. I’ve always had a gut feeling that Obama would try and bring down the USA from within with a Muslim army. This is exactly what is happening. This is an invasion.

      • Shaaira

LOL. You forget America was formed by stealing the red Indians land. What ever happened to the land of equal opportunity for all? Just because they come from the Middle East do they not have a right to live ?? Do their kids not deserve to grow up without loaing limbs or dying ?? It’s so sad that the west complains about taking them in after invading interfering stealing oil and bleeding their countries dry. Humanity has failed.

        • Ox

Wow, Shaaira, that is one of the most brilliant, yet openly manipulative and deceptive comments I’ve ever received on any of the blogs that I write on.

I’m sure you know what you’re doing, but I’ll let everyone else in. What Shaaira was doing was called pacing.

She started with something semi friendly “LOL”. Then she said something where the details are debatable, but the general sentiment is absolutely correct. Then, she threw out another statement that “everyone” could agree with.

Then comes the kicker. The first 3 statements weren’t categorical lies. The 4th statement about Middle Easterners not having a right to live was pulled out of the either and designed to put people on the defensive. The 5th statement about kids losing limbs is equally deceptive and manipulative. The 6th statement again tries to pull in people by blaming it on the US and “oil” and the last is a catch all statement that many agree with, regardless of which side of the equation they’re on.

Again, a BRILLIANT comment, but lacking in truth.

If, Shaaira, you happened to write this without ill intent, let me make a few things perfectly clear.

          1. Most people in the US had no problems with Muslims until radical Muslims started killing us and moderate Muslims didn’t take care of it.
          2. Most people still today don’t have a problem with Muslims who respect freedom, liberty, and are willing to integrate into the society into which they move. The problem isn’t with Muslims who are peaceful. The problem happens when radical Muslims who believe in Sharia and the need for Islamic government are determined to convert, tax, or kill anyone who isn’t radical enough for them.
          3. The main reason fork kids losing limbs in the world today are because of landmines placed by radical Islamic groups. Let the 80 or 90% of Muslims who aren’t radical take care of the other 10-20%, and the US wouldn’t have to.
          4. Could you tell me why, if we “stole their oil and bled their countries dry” that gas and oil prices have gone UP in the US since 2001?

    • ranchodellago

I do not understand why you folks don’t see that this President is a radical Muslim, who has appointed most of his cabinet as Muslims and will never stop the intrusion of his people (ISIS) into our country. As Americans we can talk of being “ready” for these anti-americans and able to fight them in our own neighborhoods. The fact is, they can set off bombs and kill hundreds of us and we are able to kill only one or two of them.

When you have cancer, you fight it at the point of infection. Until such time as we, as Americans have the balls to do so, we will be at great risk.

      No refugees, no illegals……period!

Potus and his ilk are our enemy.

    • EX LEO

I THINK THE POTUS & HIS CRONIES REALLY COULD CARE LESS IF THEY DRUG ‘OUR COUNTRY’ ANY FARTHER DOWN THAN THEY ALREADY HAVE….
YOU’RE RIGHT DBat, THAT’S WHY THE PEOPLE LOVE TRUMP SO MUCH….. HE DOESN’T HAVE TO KISS ANYBODIES A$$! ! !

    • DBat

It’s gotton out of hand . The government is dragging this country down and we have to do something about it. I’m not saying what but the citizens can only take so much and then BOOM. SHTF

    • Realist

Having done backgrounds for a while it would interesting just how extensive their backgrounds would be for these people. It is not like they can go and knock on doors and check the neighborhood to check references. A records check into some of the data bases might show on a very few. As for the others their backgrounds should be very easy. Fingerprint them, run them through the system and then they are cleared because there is nothing. If they had grown up in the US they would already be in the data base, social security, DMV etc. There is no reason several hundred could not be cleared by one person each day. They would make great new citizens………….just ask them why would anyone think they would lie……….

      • EX LEO

There wouldn’t be ANY data whatsoever on any of these so called ‘refugees’ in the U.S. based data bases. Possibly an international data base that an outfit like NSA or CIA would have access to….. but could you see any of the high end “snoopers” being bothered with background investigations ? Just sayin’…… !

    • James Green

No Muslims… no way, no how, not ever!

    • g51

Just like ISIS came from a small group to become a large army supplied with all provisions to make war and take over countries it will happen with these refugees coming to the USA also. You can bet on it. If this isn’t treason by our government then what is?
Just like ISIS goes town to town, city to city taking it over that same thing will some day soon happening here. Our only hope will be enough patriots and x military armed people can stop them. People in the USA better forget this racial division and start becoming pals to keep this country from being overtaken by Islamic extremist refugees.

    • Bill

Be aware. Prepare. The worst is yet to come. History shows this to be the case:

“When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agreed to ‘the reasonable’ Muslims demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source: CIA: The World Fact Book, 2007).
      *** One percent ***
“As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country it will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone
.”
Here is where it becomes interesting. Note throughout the exponential scale of Islamic influence as the percentage of Muslim population per country increases. Comments in square brackets are my corrective interjections.
      United States: 1.0
      Australia: 1.5
      Canada: 1.9
      China: 1.0-2.0
      Italy: 1.5
      Norway: 1.8
*** Two to three percent ***
“At 2% and 3% they [Muslims] begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.”
      Denmark: 2.0
      Germany: 3.7
      United Kingdom: 2.7
      Spain: 4.0
      Italy: 4.6
*** Five percent and over ***
“From 5% on they [Muslims] exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. They will push for the introduction of halal (“clean” by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves – along with threats for failure to comply (United States).”
      France: 8.0
      Philippines: 5.0
      Sweden: 5.0
      Switzerland: 4.3
      The Netherlands: 5.5
      Trinidad & Tobago: 5.8
“At this point, they [Muslims] will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, or Islamic law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
*** Ten percent and over ***
“When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris – car burning). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam, Denmark – Mohammed cartoons, murder of Theo van Gogh).”
      Guyana: 10.0
      India: 13.4
      Israel: 16.0
      Kenya: 10.0
      Russia: 10.0-15.0
The one anomaly in this set of statistics is Israel, which has not experienced uprisings and threats of violence. Its Arab or Muslim population enjoys equal political rights with Jewish Israelis. The suicide bombings and rocket attacks that have killed hundreds have been perpetrated by outsiders.
*** Twenty percent and over ***
“After reaching 20% [of a population] expect hair-trigger rioting, Jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:
      Ethiopia: 32.8
*** Forty percent and over ***
“After 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:”
      Bosnia: 40.0
      Chad: 53.1
      Lebanon: 59.7
*** Sixty percent and over ***
“From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and jizya, the tax placed on [conquered] infidels:”
      Albania: 70.0
      Malaysia: 60.4
      Qatar: 77.5
      Sudan: 70.0
*** Eighty percent and over ***
“After 80%, expect state-run ethnic cleansing and genocide:”
      Bangladesh: 83.0
      Egypt: 90.0
      Gaza: 98.7
      Indonesia: 86.1
      Iran: 98.0
      Iraq: 97.0
      Jordan: 92.0
      Morocco: 98.7
      Pakistan: 97.0
      Palestine: 99.0
      Syria: 90.0
      Tajikistan: 90.0
      Turkey: 99.8
      United Arab Emirates: 96.0
I question the inclusion of “Palestine” in this set. “Palestine” simply means space occupied by stateless “Palestinians” in Gaza and the West Bank, and is the name of the state which Islamists wish to replace Israel, once it is destroyed. Turkey, after decades of having a secular, non-religious government, is beginning to turn “religious,” and seems to be yearning for the kind of Muslim government that cleansed the country in 1915 of non-Muslim Armenians in a genocide that predates the Holocaust.
      *** One Hundred percent ***
“100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ – the Islamic House of Peace’ [more correctly, dar-al-Islam, or Land of Islam]. There is supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim.”
      Afghanistan: 100.0
      Saudi Arabia: 100.0
      Somalia: 100.0

“Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.
“‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel.’ Leon Uris, The Haj.
“It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average[s] would indicate.”

I just picked up a book off Amazon entitled: Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America (Civilization Jihad Reader Series) (Volume 2) by Ann
Corcoran. It adds to what you’ve already said with some data. Whether the data is reliable is anyone’s guess.

      • Ox

Wow…thanks, Mark. I just ordered it too. Here’s the link for anyone else who’s interested >click here<

For a look back in recent history, Google “Fort Dix Six”. All were refugee immigrants from Kosovo or other war torn countries. They planned an attack at Fort Dix in NJ, which is an army basic training base. They were going to kill as many soldiers as possible. One of them lived in my neighborhood, a small private lake community. He was providing weapons and training them to shoot. Luckily they were caught before their plan was launched All went to jail. Again, don’t take my word for it. Google it. There is a lot of info about it. This occurred in 2007.

Is there any place to get hands on a video from S. Africa etc. that documents what you are saying. Good documentation will be needed to spread these facts beyond our subset of gun owners. Maybe even stimulate an expose’ in media.

      • Ox

        Not that I know of.

      • Mike R

I doubt you will be surprised if you do a web search with the term, “south africa violence immigrants” Referring to the “… liberal and untrustworthy news networks.”

      • Alan Hutty

One can get video clips from any of the news services, e.g. eNews

Are our keaders puzzies, stupid or just evil and wanting to destroy America?

I see no legitimate reason to allow a single “refugee” aka “terrorist under cover” to come into our country. Running from your problems solves nothing. They need to stay and fight or die in their own country. We really need to severely restrict our borders. All the dbags constantly remind us the world is a much different place now than when the second amendment was made in their argument for dearming citizens for example. Turn that reasoning against their foolish argument and say, ok, same goes for the message on the statue of liberty. Bring me your poor your…… Now about changing her torch for a stop sign or similar that says no trespassing ? the world was a different place when the immigrants of the 19&20centuries came to America. Plus back then people assimilated into the culture, not try to destroy it and swap it for an evil faked up cult.

      • Mwasi

        What’s the definition of “dbag”?
I’ve never heard of that “word” before.

        • Ox

There are a couple of ways to interpret dbag, one is dirt bag and the other is douche bag.

          • Realist

Either way they are both the same………………….

      • Sam W.

Our leaders want gun control. They seem to be using problem, reaction, solution. The problem will be terror attacks in gun free zones. The reaction will be public outcry. The solution will be gun control.

      all like minded people who

in all 50 state and be ready to come as one unit
when the call come to support us all

      lets set something up soon

    • Steve

We can not say we were not warned, Read CLOWARD PIVEN and IT DOESNT TAKE A WEATHERMAN TO KNOW WHERE THE WIND BLOWS. they are their game plans.

As for me I am taking Ox’s advice, ‘ Keep your eyes open and stay serious about your training and preparations in case things start to play out here like they have been in England, the rest of Europe, and South Africa.’

Great advice anytime especially these days.

    • Miguel

You are absolutely correct. There is also no reason for us to take refugees. Obama has capitulated to the UN. Americans must stand up and say no muslim refugees and at the same time deport the ones from Sudan and Somalia that are already here. Those already here have not assimilated into society and are causing problems. Time to impeach Obama and try Hillary Clinton and John Kerry for treason.

      • Westy

Why is it that Saudi Arabia and other Arab Nations are not taking in any of these refugees?
They should at least be setting up Refugee Camps to support the real refugees from the Syrian
Civil War. As noted many are Economic Refugees, but Assad is indiscriminately bombing his
own Country into oblivion in hopes of killing a few terrorist and civil protesters. It is not our responsibility
to take in refugees at such a great distance from their homes. This is especially true as we know their will be
Islamic terrorist in these groups and as noted they will never become part of our society. Instead they will
give us a choice of joining their society or dying.

        • Sam W.

Saudi Arabia will not take these refugees simply because there are very likely terrorists among them they
( Saudis) want in the United States.

    • Steve Konegni

Good article. Nothing surprising. England sold their PC souls and I have lost respect for their cowardly allowing of their rights being stripped from them. Those dunderheads are not allowed to carry anything that can be used “offensively” to protect themselves or others. Shame on them as a society.
While So Africa, specifically the Johannesburg area, I noticed that most homes were set up like a compound with razor wire and electric fences. Pretty tell tale about the criminal conditions. Even more telling were several signs warning drivers of upcoming “Carjacking ahead” when approaching four way stops in unlit areas. I worked with several S. Afrikaners in the UAE and Afghanistan. There are more mosques there than I was prepared to see in the that area.
The response to Larry Vickers’ time honored question, asked in every self defense class I attended or taught, shouldn’t be a surprise considering the violence in S. Africa. For even more scary responses to that question, it would be interesting to find out many rural while farm owners are still being butchered annually in that country and find out how many of the students were rural and how many were city dwellers.
It’s a sad state of affairs that we as Americans need to be aware of and be responsible enough to anticipate the change in our own country and the attempt for the third world islamists (and home grown types such as Nation of Islam – Louis Farrakhan and his followers) to break down our defenses as a society in their attempt to take over in the name of their archaic and animalistic beliefs.
I had the pleasure of learning from Col. Cooper when he was still alive. I was a cop for twenty six years in Phoenix. I have been in fifty countries and lived in more than several of them. I do get it. Sharia is the enforcement arm of a severely militant and unforgiving cult, called islam. I am amazed at peoples naive attitudes toward islam and its real goal. Ignorance is bliss until their heads are sawed off. I have no sympathy for those lambs when all the information is so readily available beyond the liberal and untrustworthy news networks.
Being armed and self sufficient is good, but being situationally aware is what it is all about when it comes to surviving any situation.

      • Ox

Steve, thanks a ton for your comment/reply/sharing your experiences. I forgot about them telling me about “Carjacking ahead” signs. It seems so far fetched and cartoonish in my mind that it was hard to store it in my memory as reality.

Amen on the importance of situational awareness. Stay frosty, Steve.

      • Jack M

        Steve,

Your response belongs in the dialogue of a great John Wayne film.
It’s uplifting to know that there are still citizens out there, especially LEO’s, that maintain your mindset.
Be blessed good sir, & stay safe.

    • Pat

I’m glad I’m an old man and won’t live to see our great country go down the toilet. God bless the USA.

      • Bill

        Hey Pat, you sound selfish.

        • Ox

I wouldn’t say that, Bill. You don’t know Pat. I don’t either. But I do know several unselfish older people who fear for their kids and grandkids, know that they’re beyond their fighting years, and are glad that they’re not going to have to sit around and watch things crumble while they can’t do anything about it.

    • Holt

While no one is yet saying, the next obvious question is where do these people go, who pays for their upkeep, and who faces the potential threats? Rarely talked about is how the administration handled the border crossing wave a year or so ago. illegal immigrants were forced on local communities with no consult and often no warning. State and local tax dollars, our tax dollars, were forced to spent placing these immigrant in shelters, schools etc. While the Fed is hard to stop, local and state governments should be pushing back hard (with our help) – the precedent for how this will roll out is obvious.

      • Ox

While we don’t know exactly where they’ll go…simply because the numbers are unprecedented, we do know where refugees typically go. In a normal year, the number of refugees that we take in is capped at 70,000 and they get spread out across most of the country.
