Thanks to all Veterans today who have served our country, preserved freedom, and who gave the United States an unprecedented period of relative safety from foreign threats.

To veterans reading this, thank you for your sacrifice of time, treasure, blood, limbs, and brothers.  I’m thankful for your service and for the spirit of the noble warrior that each generation of veterans renews and passes on to the next.

If you have been reading my writing for any length of time, you know that I support are the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and numerous other Veterans’ charities including Chris Kyle Frog, Carry The Fallen, and Special Operations Wounded Warrior.  We’ve been blessed to have been able to donate over $20,000 in the last few years to those and other veteran’s charities, and I thank you for making that possible.

I am fortunate that I get to see the good that these charities do for local veterans on a regular basis and SOWF has personal meaning for me because of the help that it provides for the wife and kids of one of my brother’s sergeants/friends who was killed in an ambush in Afghanistan.

SOWF-logoSo, today, in honor of Veterans’ Day, I’m going to donate 10% of all sales through the links on this page to SOWF 10% to Carry The Fallen, 10% to Special Operations Wounded Warrior, and 10% to my subscribers who are Veterans in the form of free training products.

To enter to win, simply leave a comment below telling me which product(s) you want, why you want them, and anything (short) that you’re willing and comfortable to share about your time in service. Winners will be drawn at random.  You don’t need to use your real name, but you do need to use your real email (and respond to emails) if you want your free stuff.

Know a veteran who’d appreciate this?  Please send them an email or contact them on Facebook with the link.

Today only, a full 40% of your purchase will go to support the veterans and their families who have made our freedoms possible.

There’s nothing mentioned on the pages…Monday morning, I’ll look at the sales report for today, and send off 10% of the amount to Carry The Fallen, 10% to Special Operations Wounded Warrior, another 10% to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and pick the winners of the training products.

***Monday Update***  We just got done donating $100 apiece to Brothers In Arms, Carry The Fallen, SOWF, and SOWW.  In addition, we’re getting 10 of our veteran customers set up with free training as we speak.  Thank you for your service, thank you for your support and thank you for giving me the platform and the ability to help these veterans who have done so much for us.

Would love the Real World Safety And Situational Awareness Course to help me handle a neighborhood getting more dangerous by the month. 30 year Navy vet, most of my time at sea or overseas, with a few deployments to the garden spots like Baghdad and Sarajevo.

    • Del Vandenburg

Thank you fellow veterans. I did just shy of 10 years active Navy, was on a Westpac deployment when the Iranian hostage crisis happened. Spent some time bobbing around the northern Indian Ocean, including practice runs for the failed raid attempt. Then I joined the National Guard on a “try one” enlistment – and stayed for 19 more. I would like Tactics and Preparedness. Thank you for your support of veterans.

I served in the Army from Feb. 70 to Feb. 78. Went places, saw and experienced things I never would have otherwise. Thanks to all Veterans. My Father was a Tail Gunner in a B17 in WWII. Like most Veterans of that War, he almost never spoke about it. I’ve been interested in the Recon 30-10 Course.

    • John

This is a GD hard day for me. Too many memories, too many who didn’t come home or even if they did, the war still got them. Thank You for doing this and Thank You for your blogs, info and products.

    • Joe

I’m ex army and NYANG, and was lucky enough to stay our of combat. I’ve been eying the dry fire training cards for a while, and getting them because I’m a vet would be really pretty special. It’s the recognition, and not the value that would matter to me.

    • Paul

Thanks for honoring veterans. Thanks to all you guys and gals! US Submarine Service

    • Shawn

I joined the US Army on my 17th Birthday back in 1978. I was sent to Fort Jackson, S.C. for basic training. I then went to jump school at Fort Benning, GA. I was then sent to Fort Bragg, N.C. and served as an Administrative Specialist with the Headquarters Commandant Section of the XVIIIth Airborne Corps. I re-enlisted for Fort Polk to get to know my father. I served as infantryman in the 5th Infantry Division after I switched MOS’s. I was selected for the Old Guard and was sent to Fort Myer, VA and served in Charlie Guard, 3rd US Infantry Regiment (Reinforced). I was medically retired from the Army due to injuries from a jump. I would serve my country all over again, but I would listen to my Senior NCO and not have re-enlisted for Fort Polk. He was right! I would very much like to win an AR-15. The way things are going I wish I could afford to buy one as I feel having one is now a priority, due to home invasions and terrorism. That is why I would like one.

    • B. Grace

First off let me start by saying thank you to all my fellow vets. It’s not an easy task to leave all your loved ones behind to defend their freedoms & way of life, so once again, Thank You! I was a Navy Combat Camera Crew member from ’87 to ’91. I am interested in the Dry Fire Fit & Real World Safety.

    • David Moseley

As s former Air Police Sgt in Germany, I’ve always been interested in Situational Awareness. I have the Dry Fire Cards coming and have the Concealed Carry Course. Keep reminding our ignorant fellow countrymen of what we did to give them today. We are in for some tough times ahead that are unequaled in our history. Being aware is going to be more important than most realize.

    • James

    • Scott

I’m a six year U.S. Navy veteran and would very much like your “Real World Safety Situational Awareness & Threat Detection Course” if selected.

    • David

I’m proud to have served in the U.S. Army and am humbled to be in the company of so many who have – and continue – to serve this county. I am deeply thankful for the service and sacrifice of so many who stood watch on the walls of freedom – whenever and wherever their service. I believe all of your products resonate with everyone who understands that freedom is never free. I’d be happy to receive any of your listed products – I have and will continue to share knowledge gained with others. Most importantly, I wanted to use this additional platform to share a heartfelt “Thank you for your service!” to all fellow vets!

    • Chris

I served in the Marine Corps from 1974 to 1998. I felt privileged to serve God, Country and the Corps. If selected in the drawing I would like the Force Recon 30-10 and/or the Concealed Carry Masters Course.

Thank you for looking out for disabled vets like me but especially those who suffered (and lost) so much in battle. I believe in Guardian Angels and also believe that one was at work the night you prayed for your brother. Read the story on Google about the solider in Korea and how St Michael the Archangel saved him.

    • Jay

Force Recon 30-10 pistol course would be most helpful. I have two of the courses mentioned above and they have been extremely helpful. I believe it is absolutely necessary to be accurate enough the hit the threat and not anyone else. I served in the US Navy during Viet Nam destroying enemy ships bringing in supplies. I became a Christian in the Navy and now do evangelism on college campuses.

    • Jim

Thanks for all you do for those who have served. I was a U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer for 20 years (1985-2005).

I have been working to get my wife to think more about the what-if’s that would occur for everything from a hurricane to a grid-down scenario. I have the Dry Fire Cards and Concealed Carry Masters Course and am purchasing the Dry Fire Fit cards tonight. I am interested in the Situational Awareness Course for my wife if I am selected. Thanks to all in your network for the great products!

    • Tom Crabtree

When I raised my hand on May 27th, 1967, the solemn oat I took had no expiration date. After 24 years of active Naval Service, my mission changed from protecting my loved ones and my country from a global perspective, to doing both from a local perspective. I will remain vigilant and ready as long as God gives me breath and the ability to use my hands and feet. Thank you for your generous actions on behalf of our comrades in arms. I would be truly honored to receive the ” Real World Safety Situational Awareness & Threat Detection Course” as it would greatly enhance my ability to do my duty now and for as long as I’m able. God bless you richly.

    • J. David Schmelzer

I already have the Dry Fire Cards, but the Concealed Carry Masters Course sounds like something that I could use to the benefit of my family and the people that come to my Bed & Breakfast. Hopefully these skills will never need to be demonstrated, but it is never bad to be over-prepared! Thank you for your support of the veterans organizations that you list. They are listed in my will, also! USAF Tactical Weapons Load Crew Chief 1967-1971

    • Jack C.

    • David Morris

I would love to have the concealed carry masters course. I carry everyday and want to have the most current TTPs. I was a Chinook pilot in Iraq but felt my job was relatively safe in comparison to those on the ground. We supported special ops and I have a great deal of respect for those guys!

    • Bart

Just wanted to thank you for your generous donations to such worthwhile charities. I saw a lot of need in the areas you support during my 26+ years in the USAF. Although I’d love to get the Concealed Carry Master Course, I’ve been (and continue to be) very fortunate — therefore, if you select me, please draw another vet’s name to gift with a free course/training aid.

    • Sid

AF OIF. The situational awareness training would be invaluable to two teenagers preparing for college. Thank you.

    • Bill

Really not picky, I do have a set of dry fire card`s that I like, however, anything would be fine. Being disabled & move very slowly, I would appreciate anything that would help an old Viet Nam vet. Thank`s to all Vet`s, Bill.

    • Ed Manning

USMC 1978-1991, humped hills until I decided to go air wing, spent my time with CH-53s after that. I’ve already purchased the Dry Fire Training Cards and Urban Survival Playing Cards but really have my eyes on the Force Recon 30-10 Pistol Course. If the 30-10 is the same quality as the playing cards I’m in for great training.

    • D36c/a2

The dry fire fit cards. Because after 17 years of service – first with the Army, then with the Air Force – I got out in 2013. I didn’t really want to, but life was happening. Since then I have really let myself go.

Thank you for the interesting offer, and for your thanks.

    • Gwotvet

I’d like to enter for the Real World Safety Situational Awareness & Threat Detection Course, i want to use it to retrain and relearn for myself and to train & prepare my family, i served from 1996-2005 in the U.S. Army. I was an NCO, Foreward Observer, super duper paratrooper, air assault badass, armorer, EMT, COLT Team Chief and I have an assortment of other qualifications and military schools that have little use in civilian life to my credit . I served in the 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan, & Egypt.

    • Jim schrankel

Thank you for honoring our vets the way you are. God Bless

    • Todd

USAF ’81-’85. Wasn’t much into security/prep stuff in those days, but times have changed significantly since then. I’ve got a family now with 3 young boys in Scouts, who I’d like to “Be Prepared” I’d love to check out the Tactics and Preparedness Course to supplement what we’re already doing in our suburban setting.

    • Kurt Melander

Thank you for keeping our fallen and wounded Brothers in Arms in people’s hearts and minds. I’m a Disabled Veteran, 20 years retired USAF MSgt, 15 of those years spent working, teaching, and helping create Aircraft Maintenance simulators for the F-15 Eagle/Strike Eagle working all models A/B/C/D/E and the Saudi F-15S models – the last 5 being an Education & Training specialist. I would love the CC Masters course OR any course that will help me and my family, all now range qualified and myself holding a Concealed Carry license, my Wife/Son awaiting to receive theirs. So my entire family would benefit from any of your pistol proficiency training products.

    • Rich

I’d elect the Concealed Carry Master’s Course. Army vet, vietnman and post vietnam, USMA grad with 6 years active as an infantry officer. 5 years in Mi and LA NG. Father to three officers (Army) all combat vets in Afghanistan and Iraq. Happy Veteran’s Day to all.

    • Chris

I would use all of your products.

If I had to choose one, it would be Survive in Place. As a CERT instructor, I teach disaster preparedness to anyone who wishes to learn more self-reliance. I love doing it! Survive in Place would be a great addition to our material and would allow me to provide additional depth in an important topic I feel everyone needs to understand fully for when, not if, disaster strikes.

If I could choose additional materials, it would be Dry Fire Fit cards and the Concealed Carry Masters course. I’m looking to get into personal security and I feel these would be of great benefit in honing my defense skills for my family and potential clients.

      • Chris

Sorry, I failed to mention – USN Active and Reserves. GTMO, USNA, Andrews AFB, Mayport were main duty stations. Started out as an Avionics Tech, ended up an Information Technology Specialist.

    • RobertheTexan

First of all thank you for honoring me and my brothers. Some people just say thank you, but you put some effort into that ‘thank you’ so I really do thank you. Id’ be interested in the Sealed Mindset or the Concealed Carry Masters Course. I have the Dry Fire Cards so if I happen to draw those (if it works that way) give them to another Vet. but anything else I’m could certainly use.

    • Robert

I would like to win the Concealed Carry Masters Course. I served in the US Army, 17th Armored Engineer Battalion, 1973-1976.

    • Bruce Booker

I served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps (1972-1980). Back then, being in the military was a thankless job. It surprises me that today I am being thanked for my service. Back then I was spat upon while in uniform and called “Baby Killer.”

Nevertheless, I was proud to serve my country. In my MOS we did not require sidearms, so I am weak in the area of carry pistols. I definitely need the Concealed Master Course.

      Thank you!

    • jesse brammer

Dry fire fit. Looking for ways to improve. Original cards are awesome. Semper Fi

    • Warren

Hello. If I win, I’d like the Concealed Carry Master Course. I served on active duty for 5 years. Thanks, Warren

    • William Booker

USMC 1961-1964. Happy 240th fellow Marines! The Concealed Carry Masters Course. At 72, I’m just not as physically fit to defend myself or family as I was in previous decades. It is (past) time to consider a concealed carry.

    • Bob H

Most interested in the Concealed Carry Masters Course, as I am “new” to concealed carry and wish to be as educated, trained, and qualified as possible before actually exercising my CC priviledges. I am a USCCA member and carry the Glock 42 and defend the home with the Glock 22.

I served as an AF pilot for 28 combined years of service. The highlight of my career was serving on the Command Flight Crew for Gen H. Norman Schwartzkopf’s deployable EC-135Y/N airborne command post.

    • gregorp

Sorry but cannot afford any of your wonderful aids. But fun to dream. Would love to see the situational awareness program. Wife and 2 daughters that I want more secure and aware. God bless. John, E5, USAF, 1981-1992

    • James Callow

I spent 20 years on active duty in the United States Navy. My service spanned three wars – Vietnam era, Desert Storm, and the Global War on terror. I served because I love this great nation and what the Founders left to us. I served also because my father and his Father served and it is a way that I could pay back the debt I owed to them for fighting for my freedom.

I am interested in the Real World Safety Situational Awareness & Threat Detection Course because of the area where I work and the situation in America today. I would also be interested in the Fastest Way to Prepare or the Survive in Place courses.
